Appcessories (technology controlled or read by mobile devices)
Mobile devices are used very much, also to control or read other technology (appcessories). These technological developments offer new opportunities for disabled. It is however important that both hardware and software is universally designed. A small pilot project on appcessories in 2015 revealed wide variation in the level of accessibility and usability for disabled people.
In this project we will carry out practical testing of new technology and the project also aims to improve supplier's and manufacturers' knowledge of Universal Design.
