Web Citizens
Many companies use social media as a communication strategy. In the Web Citizens project, we focus on how this type of technology can be designed universally. The main objective of the project is to:
"Develop a solution that demonstrates how social media can be used to promote social participation for all".
The R&D challenges in this project are to identify key accessibility challenges in the user interface, develop methods to ensure universal design in social media, and to develop, user test and evaluate a demonstrator as a pilot for both user interface and method development.
