Web citizens
Many companys use social media as a communication strategy. In the Web Citizen project, we focus on how this type of technology can be designed universally. The main objective of the project is to:
"Develop a solution that demonstrates how social media can be used to promote social participation for all".
The R&D challenges in this project are to identify key accessibility challenges in the user interfaces in social media, develop methods to ensure universal design in social media and to develop, user test and evaluate a demonstrator as a pilot for both user interface and method development.
