World Atlas

MediaLT has completed a Norwegian language version of the National Geographic Talking Tactile Atlas of the World which can be ordered on our website. This tactile atlas allows blind and visually impaired users to learn the geography of the world. Textured map sheets with raised lines are placed on a Talking Tactile tablet, and when users press on various regions and points, they hear voice descriptions and facts for each feature.
The project has been supported by the Norwegian foundation for Health and Rehabilitation.
