Creating formulas and using functions

Formulas are written in the same way as in Office 2003.
e.g. =sum(b4:b10).
Create absolute cell references as before, place the cursor after the cell reference and press F4.
Jaws: press Ctrl+Ins+F2 to read the formula bar.

Or you can use the Insert function in the Formulas ribbon:
Press Alt+M, F to open the Insert function dialog box. Tab to Select a category and select the category e.g. recently used functions, using the arrow keys and press Enter. Tab to Select a function and select the function e.g. Sum, using the arrow keys. Press Enter. Enter the cell area, e.g. B4:B10 and press Enter.
